FirstNet^® MegaRange™ HPUE Cellular Coverage Solution

SHIELD HPUE products deliver connectivity for life-saving and other essential communications. Highest-power devices available on FirstNet network – 6x standard equipment. SHIELD AW12  is the highest-power device available on FirstNet creating superior range, coverage, penetration, and capacity when used on the FirstNet network. .SHIELD AW12 High Power User Equipment (HPUE) modem and the AW12-EI, Ethernet Injector, bringing the power and device management capability needed by today’s sophisticated users. The SHIELD AW12 HPUE device is FirstNet Ready™ and meets all 3GPP and FCC requirements as both a Power Class 1 (HPUE) device on LTE Band 14 and as a Power Class 3 (standard power) device on all other AT&T bands. The AW12-EI is a router and power conditioner providing seamless integration to the PC or WAN port of standard Ethernet-connected routers, gateways, and switches.

A Gigabit Ethernet connection is provided for a high-speed connection to associated LAN devices, including Type 2 PoE capability to power SHIELD AW12 and includes a DC power cable and operates from 9V to 36V DC sources to help ensure operation in the most demanding vehicular environments.

SHIELD AW12 also includes a ruggedized mounting bracket with associated hardware and is suitable for mounting behind seats, in the trunk, and other locations in the vehicle. Vehicular Antennas and FirstNet Ready SIM cards are sold separately.
