GetWireless, LLC takes first place at Rural Telecom Industry Expo 2013 Hot Technologies Showcase
Featuring AirTouch U250 SmartLinX
MINNETONKA – GetWireless, LLC was selected as one of 13 companies to participate in the Hot Technologies showcase at the NTCA/OPATSCO Rural Telecom Industry Expo ’13, and chose to feature the AirTouch U250 SmartLinX. GetWireless is proud to be the AirTouch distributor of this product to regional/rural Telcos.
The U250 SmartLinX connects to a landline and wireless router so that landline calls can be made using a Smartphone. The showcase display by GetWireless was designed to recreate how a U250 SmartLinX would be installed in a home and how the use of a Smartphone with the free AirTouch app installed can be used as a landline extension.
Acceptance into the Hot Technologies showcase was at the discretion of the EXPO Advisory Sub-council and NTCA/OPATSCO show management. The winners were picked based on level of innovation, usefulness, significance of improvement, relevance in the rural marketplace and creativity of display.
